I'm Lori and ...
I am ... a wife, mother, grandmother, and homeschool mom. Married to my loving husband for 30 years. We have five children who have blessed us with five grandchildren (so far). We have been homeschooling since 1997 and have a few years yet to go with our youngest. I LOVE it! Even after all this time, it is still one of my passions. I have learned so much about my faith, myself, my children, and life. There is such joy in seeing the face of my child when that light bulb turns on in their mind indicating that they GET IT!
I am … a former pharmacist passionate about keeping my family healthy in natural ways. We have a choice and there IS a better way. Lifestyle is key. What we eat, put on our bodies, stress, and hormones all have a big impact on how we feel and on our health in general. I love helping people navigate the often confusing road to wellness.
I am … a travel junkie. I love to travel, especially when it ties into material we are covering in school (#fieldtrip!). Historical sites, fun activities, and, of course, the BEACH!
I am … continually being renewed. This is an area that keeps surprising me. I am still discovering who I am, where I’m truly me. I am pursuing a more carefree lifestyle. From minimizing our possessions to embracing my conservative husband’s growing ponytail, I’m experiencing life in new ways and I love it!
I am ... a Child of God, saved by Grace. Faith in Christ is central to all that I do.
